The London Runner Distance Club and New Balance Canada are happy to announce a partnership for this years 1,500m Night event, taking place on Sunday, June 19th. Along with the previously announced support from Millards Chartered Accountants, this enables the organizers of the 8th annual 1,500m Night event to offer prizing for the winners of every section, along with considerable bonuses available for top performances.
Prizes for Winner of Every Section!
The winner of every Open section will receive a New Balance Race Day Gymsack. The winner of every High Performance section (the final 5 races of the evening) will receive a pair of New Balance 1,500m Racing Flats.
King & Queen of the Track!
In addition to the prizes for winning your section, the fastest overall male and female runner will be crowned King/Queen of the track, with a special crown & sash that they will take home with them. The King & Queen will each receive a code to customize their own unique pair of lifestyle footwear on newbalance.com.
In addition to the prizes for the winners of each section and the King/Queen of the track, the winning male and female will receive up to $1,000 as follows:
*$1,000 if faster than IAAF Olympic standard 3:36.20 (M) or 4:07.00 (F)
*$500 if faster than 3:40.00 (M) or 4:10.00 (F)
Bonus money is non-cumulative and only awarded to the overall winner. This is not restricted to the fastest seeded section. Bonus money is generously provided by Martin Dixon and his firm, Millards Chartered Accountants.

The 2015 edition of 1,500m Night featured 384 finishers and the deepest races held on Canadian soil. 2016 participants can take advantage of early bird entry fees by registering by midnight on Monday, June 6th at TrackieReg.com/1500mNight.
